February Field Trip - The Getty Center, Los Angeles -- February 12th at 2:00pm

Our February Field Trip is to a Photo Group favorite - the Getty Center, Los Angeles. Here's another change to sharpen your skills at architectural photography and more.

The Getty Center opened in 1997 and is recognized internationally both for its collection and architecture.  The Getty is much more a campus than a museum with multiple buildings, court yards and gardens.  Lucky for us, the Getty is photographer friendly.  They permit shooting on the grounds and in any of the permanent collections as long as the images are for personal use.  The only limitation is that tripods, monopods and flash are not permitted.  This is an afternoon trip, because the light is better.

There is no entrance fee at the Getty.  However, they charge $15 per car for parking, so let's carpool.  We'll gather at the Goebel Center and leave at 1:00pm.  For those going themselves, we will meet up at 2:00pm at the base of the stairs after one exits the tram.  We can shoot until The Getty closes at 5:00pm.

Don't forget to sign up and please give us a telephone number so that we can reach you if need be.

For Questions or to RSVP: FieldTrips@topcc.org and provide your name, cell phone and home phone to assure being contacted.   Please do not phone us to RSVP, just use the the email address  :)
